Concho’s Mexican Food: Authentic Flavors and Casual Dining in Cottonwood, AZ

I was driving thru Cottonwood and needed a quick bite to eat. I assumed this was going to take long. The server assured me it would be no wait time except the time it would take to cook the food. As he said. Is how it happened. Quick and delicious and outstanding service. I had 3 different servers ask throughout my time there if all is good and if I needed anything else. Thumbs up to Concho's crew!!! Torta and Pazole is what we ordered. Good stuff.

The friendliest staff you will ever find in a restaurant. The wait staff, all the way to the chefs made effort to say hello and ask how I was during my visit. The food was outstanding, such good value also as the portions are healthy! Very impressed with the recommendations from my server. The atmosphere was just what I was looking for, it felt very authentic and relaxed. Mexican music was played and the staff sang along as they worked. It was refreshing to be in an environment where it was obvious the people wanted to be there and enjoyed their work. 10/10 you can't miss this place, must visit!

My wife and I make the trip from Prescott often to go to this gem. Prices are great and portions are better. The family atmosphere there is beyond what you find in most places today. The service and food makes the drive worth it compared to what is available locally for us. Recommend for anyone living locally or driving through.

This place is fantastic! It was my first meal after getting off a 5 hour flight, and it sure did hit the spot. I've had authentic Mexican food many times, and this was definitely authentic. I had a Carnitas Chimichanga, which was roasted pork inside a fried burrito with rice, beans , sour cream, and avocado on the side. Everything paired well together and I left not a morsel of food on the plate. They also gave me chips and salsa, and you could tell that both were home made. The chips were perfectly crispy, and the salsa was so fresh tasting, with a very slight kick. The customer service was fantastic. The staff greeted me immediately with warm smiles. I felt like I was treated like a regular, and it was my first time. The waiter took my order quickly and accurately, and the food came out super quick. The interior of the restaurant was also very clean, and had a semi outdoor seating area that looked nice. The atmosphere was very welcoming and pleasant thanks to the aforementioned qualities of this establishment. I wish I had more time to visit again and try more offerings, but I'll be sure to come back when I revisit Arizona

We were originally searching for a different restaurant and landed on this one because the reviews said food was fast, hot and delicious. All 3 were true and the service was absolutely stellar. I had the burrito de Chile coronado which was incredibly well marinated, juicy and delicious to the very last bite. The refried beans were just the right consistency the rice was on point. The house salsa was full of flavor and appropriately spiced. All in all. One of the better experiences ive had at a Mexican restaurant. Would recommend to anyone craving some good Sonoran style Mexican food.

This place is a not so hidden gem! Our waiter was Jose. His energy is contagious! She was excited for us about everything we ordered! The jalapeño margaritas were the best we’ve ever had! And the tacos!! Don’t get me started! I ordered four different ones and every one of them was amazing! Big portions. Nice quiet place. Especially after a hike! The prices was a great break from everything in Sedona. I live in the valley and I’m actually wanting to make another trip up just to visit this place!

My wife and I love in Prescott and we always make the journey for this gem in Cottonwood. Authentic mexican food in our area is lacking. Always have great service. The portions and food are worth the drive and the staff is always amazing and prompt. Worth the drive!

We sat at a table near the door, inside. It looked like they had more seating down a hallway, but I didn't go down there to see. They also had an enclosed patio with tables. They had some daily specials posted on a sign when you walk in and many choices of Mexican food in their menu, like burritos, fajitas, and tacos. Our server was very friendly and quick. We received a bowl of fresh corn tortilla chips and some salsa. We ordered and the food didn't take long. It was good, like homemade. While we were eating, there were a few other tables of customers, and some people who came to pick-up to-go orders. When we were done, we paid at the counter that you will see when you walk in the front door.
